I love the God of War games, so to see the latest installation in the series be as comparatively poor as Ascension is was quite sad. I have, sadly, quite a bit of venting to do. Good idea to have one thread where we can all vent. I would get stuck and have to really think to get past some of the puzzles but in this one it took maybe two attempts at some of them and I am just an average GoW player that can beat it on Hard like almost everyone else here. The puzzles were very easy compared to the other GoW games.

I read that from someone else here too but can't remember their name to credit them.Īlso the saying "Sacrifice Accepted" is missing when you upgrade health or magic, was that in all other games too or was it missing already for a while? The games violence and gore didn't seem like a big deal like GoW 3 did, even Adam Sessler said the last boss ending was the most violent thing hes seen or whatever but ripping that head off in GoW 3 or bashing Zeus' face in was far more violent IMO.
I mean it may sound stupid the sex mini game has NOTHING to do with overall fun in the game but it has been in every other GoW game right? I know they said he is supposed to be sensitive but he seemed to really enjoy those other topless girls lol. Felt epic at times and had a lot of fun but the game felt dumbed down in a way.
